I think of all the places I've ever lived as being my home. I'm only nearing my first week of being back in Japan, but I'm comfortable here. Sure being cut off from the world and away from the crowds clear out in the countryside is best, but big cities are also nice. I've lived in Japan long enough to become familiar with and acclimate to different environments. Japan is my home. I'll try to squeeze out a "My First Week Back in Japan" post in a couple of days. It's amazing and bewildering to be back here. For now, look at this great roasted pork miso Chashu-men with onions (辛味噌葱叉焼麺) at the ramen shop called Menyakurofune Komae-ten (麺屋黒船狛江店), which happens to be really close to the Komae International House.
